A mother and her three young children tragically lost their lives in a house fire in Barangay San Vicente, Sta. Maria, Bulacan. Investigations suggest that the mother may have intentionally set the fire, leading to the deaths of her children and herself.

Incident Details

According to reports, the mother allegedly poured gasoline and thinner on her children and herself before igniting the fire.A neighbor recounted that the eldest child, a six-year-old, managed to say, “Binuhusan kami ni mama ng gas at sinindihan,” indicating that their mother doused them with gasoline and set them ablaze.
The youngest child died on the spot, while the mother and her two other children succumbed to their injuries in the hospital.
Background

Prior to the incident, the mother reportedly filed a blotter report citing domestic issues involving her husband and a parent-in-law. She claimed that her in-law was instigating conflicts within the family.
The father was away working in Batangas at the time of the incident and has requested privacy during this difficult time.
