Typhoon Bising update: Typhoon Bising (international name: Danas) continues to move northeastward towards Taiwan, with Batanes now under Wind Signal No. 1, according to the latest advisory from PAGASA.
The typhoon is currently located 335 kilometers west-northwest of Itbayat in Batanes, and it is moving at a speed of 15 kph.

The typhoon is packing maximum sustained winds of 130 kph with gusts reaching up to 160 kph. PAGASA reports that Bising is expected to continue moving northeastward over the next 36 hours and may exit the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) by July 7 morning.
Bising is forecast to intensify over the next 12 hours before weakening over the East China Sea due to less favorable conditions. The typhoon may weaken into a remnant low by Thursday, July 10, as it interacts with China’s landmass.

PAGASA has also raised a gale warning for the seaboard of extreme northern Luzon.
